Here are text instructions to the Persephone Studio from the main pier of the seaport of Adamas. You may consult online maps if you'd like, but do not trust them. Follow my detailed instructions instead.
Most people walk up the stairs to Persephone. There are 98 stairs in total to the Persephone Studio. If you rent a vehicle, however, or would rather get a taxicab, please click on the next tab for a different set of directions.
The address is Poseidonos 3, Adamas, Milos 84801.
From the main pier, go west about 30 meters and take the stairs that start between the dual palm trees. There are 48 stairs to the upper street level.
You will come to the upper street level right across from the Kellina shop. Continue walking another 30 meters west to the stairs to Cafe Mikro (Not east toward AKRI). Take the 15 stairs to Cafe Mikro.
From there, take another 35 stairs up and STOP. Turn around 180º, and to your left (to your right as you go up the stairs) is the characteristic blue, wooden yard door, also featured in several photos of our photo album.
Go through the yard door, turn left and walk all the way to the door before the last one. That's the Persephone Studio. The keys will be at the door, or the host will be there to meet you.
Watch your step, as there are 2 stairs (one up, one down) as you enter the studio. Please message me with anything you might need and I'll try my best to help you out.

If you are driving your rental vehicle from Milos Airport, just follow the road to the seaport of Adamas, 5km. (3 miles) and get to the main ferry pier.
From the main ferry pier, drive west along the waterfront and follow the road as it curves right. You will pass Lagada beach to your left, and continue straight. You will come to a point where you may either take a 90º left turn, of continue uphill straight (and a bit to the right.) Take the uphill road.
In about 40 meters, make a sharp right turn onto another uphill street. That turn is tricky, as you may have to stop, go back 1-2 meters and try again. Follow that uphill street, and as soon as you reach the top, there is a corner with 2 sets of stairs going down (south and west), or you may take a left turn with your vehicle.
Find street parking in that area. You may have to make that left turn and continue until you find parking.
You'll then need to walk down the south-facing stairs toward the Persephone Studio, the south-facing ones toward the port, not the west-facing ones toward Lagada beach. It's about 30 stairs down until the characteristic blue, wooden yard door of the Persephone Studio to your left.

We do not recommend taking a taxi cab to the Persephone, unless you are coming from Milos Airport, 5km (3 miles) away. Most people just walk from the ferry pier to the Persephone Studio as it is very close to the port. You may, however, choose to use a taxi cab if you have kinetic difficulties or are generally too tired to haul your luggage up several flights of stairs. There are 98 stairs in total to the Persephone Studio.
You should be able to take a taxi cab from the port, as there are several waiting near the ferry. In case you miss the last one, you may call for a taxi cab at +30 22870-22219, or have someone at a nearby travel agency call one for you. They'd be happy to assist you.
Getting to the hill of Adamas may be tricky, even for taxi drivers, so I have prepared the greek text for you to show them for directions:
Από τον μώλο, οδηγείστε προς τα δυτικά, πίσω από Λαγκάδα και πάνω τον ανηφορικό δρόμο που πάει γιά Σήγκαλ. Τους αφήνετε στην τελευταία στροφή ΠΡΙΝ να φτάσετε στο Σήγκαλ, στα σκαλάκια που πάνε προς το Καφέ Μικρό.
Please note that some taxi cab drivers may refuse to drive on that uphill road. In that case, ask them to drop you off just below Cafe Mikro. You will skip climbing about 48 stairs this way. Taxi cab fare is about €8. Those of you arriving from the airport, expect to pay about €17.
